I’m a lover of all things health and fitness. As a London based Certified Online Nutritional Health Coach, I share my own health and fitness tips with cooking expertise that has inspired countless women to change their relationship with food and take charge of their health for a better future. To me weight loss is not about looking good or getting to a certain dress size in a short amount of time. I did it for my health. In 2009 I was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus also known as LUPUS, this is a chronic disease where the cells in my body attacks each other and causes my joints and muscles to flare up in multiple aches and pains. I had my second child in 2012 and my weight went up to a staggering 90kg due to both pregnancy and lupus medications.

I was unhappy and wanted to get back to my pre-pregnancy body.

Having lupus was my first step to getting my health and weight under control, I enrolled on a Nutrition course to gain knowledge on the right meals to eat for a healthy weight loss.

The beginning of my weight loss journey was not easy as sometimes I wanted to give up and go back to my old ways of eating unhealthy meals but the benefits of eating healthy food outweighed the unhealthy eating habit I had. Going through the struggles of losing unhealthy weight/fat gave me the courage to set up an Instagram page to document my own weight loss journey by sharing my daily meals and exercise routines to encourage others as well. I am so happy that sharing, showing and been transparent about my struggles as allowed me to connect with so many people all over the world in motivating them to achieve their own weight loss goals and continue to live a healthy lifestyle.

I tell my clients that the healthy weight loss process is slow but if you are persistent, consistent, determined and discipline you can get to that healthy weight loss you desire. The main thing to keep in mind is never to compare yourself to others as we all lose weight at different rates but to focus on being the best healthy version of you.
